Concrete and cement
The use of microsilica dust in concrete and cement has grown rapidly in recent years. Microsilica acts as a pozzolan due to its uniform dispersion and high volume of hydration products in concrete. On the other hand, due to the fineness of the grains, it acts as a filler to reduce the size of pores in the cement paste.
Polymer uses
When polymer products are extruded, microsilica can be used as a filler and reinforcement to improve their impact strength and stiffness. Microsilica also improves the process, producing smoother surfaces and increasing production efficiency.

Refractory
Microsilica can be used in the production of refractory concretes made from calcium-aluminate cements. At the same time, this material can also be used in the production of other types of refractory materials. In these cases, the use of microsilica improves ceramic bonds and significantly improves the properties of the product.
Other uses of microsilica
Microsilica can be used to produce various types of silicates because microsilica has high reactivity and can easily react with other elements to form silicates. Microsilica powder is also used as coating powders, insulating powders, auxiliary materials in catalytic protection systems and for selective absorption of ions in the chemical industry.
